OCEAN CHURCH CHOOSES THUNDER CITY PRO FOR THEIR PHASE 2 PRODUCTION UPGRADES
Thunder City Pro recently made waves designing a brand new control room for Ocean Church, continuing its lasting relationship with their amazing team. This project was a testament to Thunder City Pro's expertise and innovative approach to production design.
The control room was designed to meet the specific needs of Ocean Church and was tailored to their requirements. One of the key features of the control room is the use of gear from Blackmagic Design and RTS Intercom, two of the leading brands in the industry. Keep reading below…
The new infrastructure consists of:

(2) SRT paths to each remote campus that can be tape delayed. One of these feeds is the primary campus PGM cut, and the other is an ISO of the Pastor. These 2 feeds are perfectly timed for each screen so that the ISO and PGM cut are synchronized for the audience. Tape delaying allows for the remote campuses to delay the Pastors teaching, in case their local worship runs over time.

One of the biggest challenges that Thunder City Pro faced was figuring out how to take Ocean Church's existing cable infrastructure and incorporate it into the new workflow, with ZERO prior documentation. This was a critical step in ensuring that the control room was economical and cost-effective, without compromising on the quality of the final product.
Despite the challenges, Thunder City Pro was able to overcome them and deliver a brand-new control room that far exceeded the expectations of Ocean Church. Thunder City Pro made sure that the solution was flexible, scalable, and easy to use, which was important to ensure that Ocean Church could continue to expand its services and reach a wider audience.
